PRIVACY POLICY

STEPPPS is built by STBL Creative. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

The short version: We collect as little as possible. Your step data stays on your device and in your iCloud. We don't sell anything to anyone.

DATA WE COLLECT

Account Information

• Email address (for account creation and authentication)
• Authentication tokens (to keep you signed in)

Step Data

• Daily step counts (synced from Apple Health)
• Your daily step goal
• Historical step records

App Settings

• Your preferences (notification times, display settings)

DATA WE DON'T COLLECT

• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos
• Any health data other than step count
• Device identifiers for advertising
• Analytics or tracking data

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• To display your step count and progress
• To sync your data across devices
• To send notifications you've enabled
• To generate your weekly reports

That's it. We don't use your data for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES

On your device: Step data from Apple Health, cached settings, and local preferences.

In our database: Your account info, step history, and settings are stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). This enables syncing across devices and generating reports.

We don't share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., our database provider).

DATA RETENTION

We keep your data as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can:

• Export your data (contact us)
• Delete your account and all data (in Settings)
• Opt out of notifications (in Settings)

APPLE HEALTH

STEPPPS reads step count data from Apple Health. We only read step data—we never write to or modify your Health data. You can revoke this access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health → STEPPPS.

CHILDREN

STEPPPS is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

CHANGES

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
